چکیده

The choice of an adequate electrolyte is a fundamental aspect in polymer light-emitting electrochemical cells (PLECs) as it provides the situ doping and influences performance these devices. In this study, hyperbranched (Hybrane DEO750 8500) blended with Li salt used novel state-of-the-art Super Yellow (a polyphenylenevinylene) based LECs. Due to desirable properties homogeneous smooth films that forms emitting polymer, PLEC excellent electroluminescent are obtained using pulsed current bias scheme. devices very stable, lifetimes excess 2000 h initial luminance values above 450 cd m−2, peak efficiency 12.6 lm W−1, sub-minute turn-on times. stability also studied by measuring photoluminescence (PL) semiconductor during operation. findings suggest possible observe quenching PL vertically stacked due advancement doped fronts film immediate recovery when removed.

Fabrication of stable photovoltachromic cells using a solvent-free hybrid polymer electrolyte.

In this work, photovoltachromic cells (PVCCs) are fabricated using a solvent-free polyethylene glycol (PEG)-titanium hybrid polymer electrolyte. With appropriate addition of 1,2-dimethyl-3-propylimidazolium iodide in the electrolyte, the range of tunable colored-state transmittance of the PVCC is enlarged due to an improved fill factor. A transmittance modulation larger than 40% can be maintain...

Frequency-dependent learning achieved using semiconducting polymer/electrolyte composite cells.

Frequency-dependent learning has been achieved using semiconducting polymer/electrolyte composite cells. The cells composed of polymer/electrolyte double layers realized the conventional spike-rate-dependent plasticity (SRDP) learning model. These cells responded to depression upon low-frequency stimulation and to potentiation upon high-frequency stimulation and presented long-term memory. The ...

Composite Electrolyte Membranes from Partially Fluorinated Polymer and Hyperbranched, Sulfonated Polysulfone

Macromolecular modification of poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) (PVDF) was done with various proportions of sulfonic acid terminated, hyperbranched polysulfone (HPSU) with a view to prepare ion conducting membranes. The PVDF-co-HFP was first chemically modified by dehydrofluorination and chlorosulfonation in order to make the membrane more hydrophilic as well as to introduce uns...

Catalyst supports for polymer electrolyte fuel cells.

A major challenge in obtaining long-term durability in fuel cells is to discover catalyst supports that do not corrode, or corrode much more slowly than the current carbon blacks used in today's polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells. Such materials must be sufficiently stable at low pH (acidic conditions) and high potential, in contact with the polymer membrane and under exposure to hydrogen ...
